Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a new service?

Fill in the service details in the form on the left side of the page, including service name, time, status, date, and category. Then click the "Add Service" button to add it to your list. All fields are required for accurate tracking.

Can I export my service data?

Yes, you can export your service data as a CSV file. Click the "Export Data" button in the results section to download a CSV file with all your service information. The export includes all service details including ID, name, category, time, status, and date.

Is my data saved locally?

Yes, all your service data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This means your data persists between sessions, but it's only available on the device and browser you're using. No data is sent to external servers, ensuring complete privacy.

How do the charts work?

The charts automatically update when you add or remove services. The status distribution chart shows the percentage of completed, pending, and cancelled services, while the category distribution chart shows how services are distributed across different categories. Both charts provide visual insights into your service patterns.

How can I filter my service data?

Use the filter dropdowns in the Service Statistics section to filter by category or status. You can combine filters to view specific subsets of your data. The statistics and charts will automatically update to reflect the filtered data, allowing for focused analysis.

Can I edit or delete individual services?

While you can't directly edit services after adding them, you can easily delete any service using the trash icon in the service list. To modify a service, simply delete the existing entry and add a new one with the corrected information.

What is the success rate calculation?

The success rate is calculated as the percentage of completed services out of the total services. It's computed as (Completed Services รท Total Services) ร— 100. This metric helps you gauge the overall effectiveness of your service operations.

How is the average service time calculated?

The average service time is calculated based only on completed services. It's the sum of all completed service times divided by the number of completed services. This gives you a realistic benchmark for how long similar services typically take to complete.

Can I use this tool for team collaboration?

This tool is designed for individual use with local data storage. For team collaboration, you can export the data as CSV and share it with team members. Multiple team members can maintain their own counters and periodically consolidate the data for team-wide analysis.

Is there a limit to how many services I can add?

There's no built-in limit to the number of services you can add. The only limitation is the storage capacity of your browser's localStorage, which is typically around 5-10 MB. For most practical purposes, this allows for thousands of service entries without any issues.

How do I back up my service data?

The easiest way to back up your data is to use the Export Data feature to download a CSV file. You can also use your browser's developer tools to export the localStorage content. We recommend regularly exporting your data, especially if you have a large number of service entries.

Can I import data from other sources?

Currently, the tool doesn't have a direct import feature, but you can manually add services from other sources. If you have data in a spreadsheet, you can use it as a reference while entering services. Future versions may include an import feature for CSV files.
