Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a launch "fair"?
No presale, no private investors, no team getting tokens before everyone else. Everyone buys from the same pool at the same starting price. The market decides the price from there.
How much liquidity do I need?
Rule of thumb: 10-20x your expected average trade size. If people will trade $500 at a time, you want at least $5,000-$10,000 liquidity to keep slippage reasonable.
Should I allocate any tokens to the team?
Purist fair launches have 0% team allocation. If you need funds for development, 5-10% is acceptable if it's locked and vested. Be transparent about it.
What's the AMM formula?
x * y = k. Token amount times base currency amount equals a constant. When someone buys tokens, they add base currency and remove tokens, changing the ratio and thus the price.
Why lock liquidity?
Without locked liquidity, developers can remove it and crash the price to zero (rug pull). Locking proves you can't do this. Longer locks = more trust.
What's a good trust score?
80+ is solid. 90+ is excellent. Below 70 and you'll face skepticism. The score considers LP allocation, lock period, team allocation, and liquidity depth.
