To add employees, click the "Add" button in the Employees section. Fill in the employee's name, department, and yearly PTO allocation. Once saved, the employee will appear in the employee list and can be selected for leave requests.

Can I filter the calendar by department?

How are PTO balances calculated?
PTO balances are calculated based on the yearly allocation you set for each employee minus the days already used. The system automatically tracks approved leave requests and updates the remaining balance in real-time.

Yes, when a leave request is submitted, it appears in the "Pending Requests" section with a yellow color on the calendar. Managers can review and approve or deny requests, which then updates the calendar and employee's PTO balance accordingly.
